I'm Mehrshad Abbaslou, a Lead Product Designer and UX Engineer. Ten years of shipping across healthcare, travel, data analytics and enterprise AI. I believe design should prove itself: with tokens instead of taste debates, prototypes instead of promises, and numbers instead of adjectives. These days I lead design at Open Innovation AI, building enterprise ML platforms and the design ops that let a whole company prototype.
Design lead for enterprise ML platforms. Built a design system with 3,491 tokens, 220 components and 91 written laws, then built the AI design ops on top: OI Lite lets PMs and engineers prototype with real components in plain English. Design here is an engineering discipline, and I like it that way.

Started with two student clients, grew to a team of eight. Shipped UX, motion and app work for clients including the Victoria and Albert Museum, plus a 3D-printing app and a data-science-through-play workshop.
Before fixing a UX problem, I rebuild it broken and make people feel it. Root cause beats opinion, every time. That habit became The UX Files: twenty problems, twenty rebuilds.
A design system is only real if it can say no. Mine have numbered laws, token audits and AI verifiers that grade my own work cold. If a pixel can't show its passport, it doesn't ship.
Figma is where I think; the browser is where I decide. Real components, real motion, real data shapes. It's why engineers like working with me and why handoff is quiet.
